Briggs & Stark are a rising Americana–folk duo whose buttery harmonies, wholesome storytelling, and signature tickle of flute have quickly made them one of the UK’s most exciting new acts. Both halves of the duo formerly created music as part of separate projects, and now Briggs’ knack for catchy Americana hooks and Stark’s indie-folk tales of human nature and heartbreak combine to form a sound that is heartfelt, contemporary, and deeply relatable. On stage, they expand this further with rich layers of vocals, flute, guitars, stomp box, and tambourine, creating a live set with far more depth than you’d expect from just two people.
 

Their debut EP Starting Something (2024) launched with a sold-out hometown show, a moment that reflected the strong connection they had already built with audiences. That reputation has also carried them onto festival stages including Wickham, Weyfest, and most notably The British Country Music Festival — where they were named “one of the most mentioned artists” of 2025. With a stage presence described as wholesome, comforting and deeply engaging, they have a natural ability to win over new listeners, whether in intimate venues or in front of festival crowds.
 

Their single Through This — a moving reflection on mental health — has resonated strongly with listeners, becoming their most-streamed track to date and a key part of their live set. Following a well-received Valentine’s single earlier in 2025, Briggs & Stark are building anticipation with new tracks that have already struck a chord live and will appear on their forthcoming concept EP, out in spring. The Moving Diaries offers a fly-on-the-wall insight into the trials and triumphs of their relocation to a new city.
 

Along the way, they’ve shared bills with Luke Jackson, Two Ways Home, and Buckle & Boots, headlined two sold-out shows at Guildford’s renowned Star Inn, and appeared on Avondale Radio, The Nightshift, and The Moho Sessions, to name a few.
